Indoor locations include shoes, sofa, bookcase, dining chair, towel, pillow, coat rack and toy box. Outdoor locations include doormat, bench, flowerpot, watering can, picnic table, tree trunk, garden gate and outdoor chair. Check that your space has every chosen location before preparing a route.
Cards are four per page and larger than small plastic eggs. Fold them if suitable or use envelopes. An adult cuts, sets up and supervises the hunt; all clues should be reachable without climbing. Read aloud for younger children and solve as a group.
The final surprise is supplied by you. It can be a shared activity or message; food and purchased prizes are optional. The cards are not editable, but the blank page can be handwritten.
