Younger elementary learners can focus on tracing circles and building fractions with adult help. Learners who know division can measure circumference and diameter, compare ratios and solve the calculation cards. This is a flexible activity resource, not a graded curriculum.
Bring pencils, rulers, non-stretch string and safe circular objects. Calculators are welcome. Print the lab and reflection sheets per pair, the fraction page per learner and the challenge cards per station. The fraction circles are not calibrated measuring templates.
The Pi Day classroom guide explains the activities and adaptations. All pages have the HHH logo, linked footer and page number.
