A relaxed half-hour party
Start with five minutes of ornament introductions. Guests choose a decoration and say where they would hang it. Next, place a bell, bow and star on a tray. Cover the tray, remove one object and invite partners to identify it. Give each table ten minutes for three rounds and let a guest change the tray each time.
Finish with a carol conversation
Hum a familiar carol twice, then give the room time to answer together. Invite someone to share where they remember hearing it. Close with a choice of a large-letter word search or coloring a bold ornament outline. Set out dark pencils and keep the answer sheets at another table so each guest decides when to check.
